I spent the weekend in Vancouver BC, celebrating my birthday. It’s such a lovely city, filled with interesting people, beautiful buildings, and surrounded by rugged and friendly peaks, mirrored in the salty bay.
I really took very few images, feeling like I wanted to immerse myself in the city and remove the safety goggles of the camera, and I think I acheived that.
Here are the few shots I did take.
View from the Black Frog, where I watched the Superbowl with Canadians. And, even more weird, Canadian ads.
With windshield color distortion! Love.
Thanks to everyone who sent in birthday greetings, Facebook love, Yelp hugs, email, text messages, blog comments, and voicemail. I’d give each of you a giant hug if I could.
