Marie and Konrad are in town for the weekend. They arrived yesterday morning and Marie and I dropped Sheila (my car) off at BMW for a complimentary 27 point inspection and car wash before picking up the boys and spending the day thrift store shopping and having rainy city afternoon (my fav). We ended up back at the house, watching excerpts from the Olympic opening ceremonies (how awesome was KD Lang?), creating the most delicious pasta dish I have ever made, and planning our V-Day diner with cousins and friends.
We are heading up to Jeanette’s house to meet up with 6 other people for dinner and drinks. The guys will cook, and the girls will sample (quality control) and chat while we supervise. I’m also planning to bring my computer, camera, stands, lights, flashes, and background to set up a “photo-booth.” I’m hoping we can add in some goofy hats, etc and really make it fun. I should have some images for you later this week. Looking forward to it!
